Greatest Heavyweights – Sega Genesis Game

Greatest Heavyweights is a boxing game for the Sega Genesis built around licensed heavyweight fighters from different eras of the sport. Bouts are viewed from a behind-and-above angle inside the ring, with jabs, hooks, uppercuts and body shots mapped to the controller along with blocking and movement. You can fight exhibition matches between the featured boxers or take a created fighter through a career, training between bouts to raise attributes such as power, speed and stamina, then working up through opponents toward title contention. Punches drain an energy meter, so pacing and defence matter across the rounds, and fights can end by decision, stoppage or knockout. Historical footage-style presentation and fighter profiles frame the roster.
