Gunbird 2 – Sega Dreamcast Game

Gunbird 2 is a vertically scrolling shooter from Psikyo, brought to the Dreamcast from the arcade original. You choose from a cast of characters who each fly or travel under their own power, with individual shot patterns, bomb attacks and melee-range charge attacks, and the anime-styled cast trade comic dialogue with bosses. Levels scroll upward through fantasy and steampunk-flavoured environments filled with dense enemy formations and large mechanical bosses that fill much of the screen. Scoring rewards close-range shooting and chaining pickups, and two players can play together on the same screen. Standard shooter options such as difficulty and lives settings are available, along with a practice-friendly structure for learning enemy patterns.
