Harvest Moon: Animal Parade continues the island setting introduced in Tree of Tranquility. Playing as a male or female farmer, you work to restore the withered Harvest Goddess and the great tree, with progress tied to ringing the island’s bells and drawing life back to the land. The daily routine covers tilling and planting seasonal crops, watering and harvesting, and raising a range of animals for products you ship for income. Money funds tools, buildings and more livestock. Fishing, mining, foraging and cooking round out the activities, and riding animals helps you cover the island’s spread-out regions. Townspeople keep their own schedules and gather for seasonal festivals, and you can befriend, court and marry one of the eligible residents, later raising a child. Play is open-ended across in-game years.
