High School Musical 3: Senior Year Dance is a rhythm game for the PlayStation 2 based on the Disney film series. You follow on-screen prompts in time with songs from the movies, either using the controller or a compatible dance mat, hitting steps and arrows as they scroll to build combos and scores. Routines are set to the franchise’s songs and staged in locations and outfits drawn from the films, with characters performing the choreography on screen. Difficulty settings let newcomers work through simpler step patterns before moving to busier charts, and multiplayer modes let two players compete or dance together on the same console. The presentation is aimed squarely at fans of the films, pairing the licensed soundtrack with dance-pad play.
