Home Alone – Sega Genesis Game

Home Alone for the Sega Genesis is based on the film, with Kevin McCallister alone in the house as burglars break in. You explore the rooms and floors of the home, gathering the family’s valuables and setting up traps to deal with the intruders as they pursue you. Each area is viewed from the side, with stairs, doors and passages connecting the interior, and being caught by a burglar sets you back. Play is about staying mobile, knowing the layout and putting hazards where they will do the most good. The presentation follows the movie’s premise, with cartoonish sprite work and the two burglars as your constant threat. It is a short arcade-style game suited to repeated attempts.
