Hot Wheels Turbo Racing on Nintendo 64 is an arcade racer using vehicles based on Hot Wheels die-cast cars. You race on stylised courses that mix road sections with loops, jumps and shortcuts, and the cars handle in an exaggerated arcade style rather than a simulation one. Boost is central: collecting and spending it lets you hit high speeds and clear large gaps, and airborne stunts feed back into your speed. Courses are built around spectacle, with sections that send cars off ramps and through corkscrews. The game includes single-player racing events with cars and tracks to unlock, plus split-screen multiplayer so two players can race on the same television.
