Incredible Crisis – PS1 Game

Incredible Crisis is a comedy minigame collection built around a single disastrous day for one Japanese family. Each member has their own chapter, and you play through the escalating catastrophes that befall them as they try to reach home for grandmother’s birthday. The game is divided into short, self-contained challenges: dodging a giant rolling ball, escaping a collapsing building, timing button presses to survive a chase, riding vehicles and taking part in strange set pieces. Each one has its own control scheme and rules, usually explained just before you play, and success is measured by finishing before time or health runs out. Presentation leans heavily on slapstick animation, cartoon-styled characters and a jazzy, upbeat soundtrack. Chapters can be replayed to improve results once the story is complete.
