Instruments of Chaos Starring Young Indiana Jones – Sega Genesis Game

A side-scrolling action game for the Sega Genesis based on The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, casting you as Indy in his teenage years. Levels are built around platforming through varied locations, with the whip used both as a weapon against animals and human opponents and as a way to swing across gaps and hazards. You can also pick up and throw objects found in the environment, and health is limited, so avoiding damage matters as you work toward each stage’s exit. Enemies and traps are placed to make you learn routes through the larger levels, and some sections require exploring for keys or alternate paths rather than simply moving right. Cutscene panels tie the stages to the television series’ globe-trotting stories.
