Italian Job – Gamecube Game

The Italian Job on GameCube is a driving game built around heist scenarios in the style of the film. You take the wheel of small hatchbacks, Mini-type cars among them, and run missions through city streets that mix timed deliveries, pursuits, escapes from police and objectives that require reaching checkpoints before a clock expires. Handling is arcade-leaning rather than simulation-focused, with plenty of tight cornering, traffic to weave through and shortcuts across pedestrian areas and stairways. Damage to your car and to the environment features in the action, and some missions ask you to shake off chasing vehicles rather than simply finish a route. Alongside the story-driven missions there are additional modes for racing and free driving in the game’s environments.
