Italian Job – PS1 Game

The Italian Job for PlayStation is a mission-based driving game inspired by the heist film. You drive small cars, including Mini-style hatchbacks, through city streets and complete objectives such as reaching checkpoints against the clock, escaping police pursuit, transporting people or goods, and causing enough disruption to cover a robbery. Driving is arcade-style, favouring handbrake turns and shortcuts over realistic physics, and routes often send you through alleys, pedestrian areas and other spaces normal traffic would not use. Failing a mission generally means restarting it, so learning the layout of each route matters as much as raw speed. Beyond the main sequence of missions, the game includes further driving modes that let you race or explore the environments outside the story.
