Jackie Chan’s Stunt Master – PS1 Game

Jackie Chan’s Stunt Master is a 3D beat ’em up for the PlayStation starring a digital version of Jackie Chan, who also lends his voice to the game. You move through linear stages set in streets, docks, rooftops and other locations, taking on groups of thugs with punches, kicks and combinations. Fights make heavy use of the environment: you can pick up objects to swing or throw, and climb, jump and clamber over scenery in the acrobatic style of Chan’s films. Levels are broken up by chase and platforming sections, and each area builds toward a tougher opponent. Cutscenes carry a light story about rescuing Jackie’s kidnapped grandfather. The game leans on slapstick timing and stunt work rather than complex fighting-game inputs.
