Jaws Unleashed – PS2 Game

Jaws Unleashed puts you in control of the shark rather than fighting it. You swim freely through an open stretch of water around Amity Island, moving between beaches, harbours, canals and offshore areas, with missions to take on and objectives that advance a loose story alongside optional destruction and free-roaming play. Combat is physical: you bite, thrash, ram and drag targets underwater, taking on swimmers, divers, boats, hunters and other sea creatures, and you regain health by feeding. Damaging structures such as piers, cages and vessels is also part of the game. Upgrades become available as you progress, improving your attacks and durability. The tone is deliberately gory and over the top, and the PS2 version presents everything from a third-person view behind the shark.
