K-1 Revenge – PS1 Game

K-1 Revenge is a PlayStation fighting game based on K-1 kickboxing. Matches are contested in a ring under stand-up rules, so play revolves around punches, kicks, knees and blocking, with rounds, knockdowns and knockouts settling the outcome rather than special moves or magic meters. You choose a fighter and progress through tournament-style opposition, and two players can face each other in single bouts. Attacks are divided across high, mid and low targets, and footwork around the ring matters for creating openings and staying out of range as fighters tire. The game uses polygonal 3D fighters with arena presentation modelled on televised K-1 events, including ring entrances and crowd backdrops. The result is a combat sports title aimed at players who prefer simulated kickboxing rules to arcade fighting-game conventions.
