Katamari Damacy – PS2 Game

Katamari Damacy is a PlayStation 2 action-puzzle game in which you roll a sticky ball, the katamari, around household and outdoor environments. Anything smaller than your ball sticks to it, so you begin with thumbtacks, sweets and mice, then grow large enough to pick up bicycles, people, buildings and more. Each stage sets a size target and a time limit, and the ball’s momentum and shape affect how it handles as it swells. You play as the small Prince, working under the King of All Cosmos, who has knocked the stars out of the sky and expects you to replace them. Control uses both analogue sticks to push and steer. The presentation is deliberately bright and offbeat, with a vocal-heavy soundtrack.
