Kenka Bancho

Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble is a brawler for the PlayStation Portable in which you play a Japanese delinquent on a school trip, aiming to establish yourself as the toughest student around. You roam city streets in a third-person view, picking fights with rival delinquents you encounter and fighting them one-on-one or against small groups with punches, kicks, throws and environmental attacks. A staredown mechanic precedes many fights, letting you intimidate opponents before the first blow. Beating rivals earns experience and money that go towards new techniques and clothing, and defeated bosses can join you. Between fights you explore, talk to characters and take on side activities. The tone is comedic and heavily rooted in Japanese delinquent-manga conventions.
