Kill.Switch – PS2 Game

kill.switch is a third-person shooter built around a cover system. You play as a soldier sent into a series of military and industrial environments, and the core of the combat is attaching yourself to walls, crates and low barriers, then leaning out to fire or shooting blind over the top of cover to suppress enemies while staying protected. Blind firing sprays rounds without exposing you but sacrifices accuracy, so trading between aimed shots and suppression is central to how firefights play. Levels are fairly linear, with arenas laid out to give both you and the enemy usable cover positions, and weapons include assault rifles, shotguns, grenades and heavier ordnance. A narrative frame involving the character’s mission and memories unfolds between levels through briefing sequences and cutscenes.
