King Arthur – PS2 Game

King Arthur on PlayStation 2 is a third-person action game based on the film, following Arthur and his knights through battles across Roman-era Britain. Combat is the focus: you clear stages of enemy soldiers using sword combos, blocks and heavier special attacks that become available as you fight, with the camera behind your character throughout. Several of the knights are playable at different points in the story, and their weapons and moves vary, while some sequences involve mounted combat or fighting alongside friendly troops in larger engagements. Levels are largely linear, moving from one confrontation to the next, with cutscenes and narration linking the chapters together. Visually it sticks to the film’s grounded, armoured look and overcast landscapes rather than a magical take on Arthurian myth.
