Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land is a Game Boy Advance version of Kirby’s Adventure, rebuilt with updated graphics and sound. You guide Kirby through side-scrolling worlds, inhaling enemies and swallowing them to take on copy abilities such as fire, sword, cutter and beam, each changing how you attack and reach hidden areas. Levels are entered from world maps, with doors leading to secret rooms, switch-activated shortcuts and boss encounters. Discarding an ability turns it into a star you can throw. The game includes sub-games separate from the main quest, and multiple players can compete in them by linking systems. After finishing the main story, additional modes and a harder mode become available.
