LA Rush – PS2 Game

LA Rush is an arcade-style street racing game for PlayStation 2, set in a version of Los Angeles that you drive around freely between events. It carries on the Rush series’ approach of exaggerated speed, big jumps and shortcuts rather than strict simulation. You take on races and challenges across the city, earning money and unlocking new vehicles as you go, and cars can be customised with visual parts and performance upgrades. Licensed real-world cars appear alongside a soundtrack of licensed music. Handling is loose and drift-friendly, with traffic and city scenery to weave through, and events range from point-to-point sprints to circuit races. Free roaming lets you look for collectibles and hidden routes between the structured challenges.
