Lemmings – Sega Genesis Game

The Genesis conversion of the puzzle game in which you shepherd crowds of small, suicidal creatures to an exit. Each stage drops lemmings from a hatch and they march straight ahead, walking off cliffs and into water, lava and traps unless you intervene. Using a cursor, you assign one of several skills to an individual lemming, turning it into a blocker to stop the crowd, a digger or basher to carve through terrain, a builder to bridge a gap, or a climber or floater to survive vertical drops. Each level supplies limited numbers of each skill, sets a time limit and requires a minimum percentage saved. Later stages become intricate terrain puzzles that reward careful planning and pausing.
