LocoRoco – PSP Game

LocoRoco is a side-scrolling action game for PlayStation Portable in which you never control the characters directly. Instead, you use the shoulder buttons to tilt the entire level, rolling a blob-like LocoRoco left and right and flicking it into the air. The creatures can split into several small ones to squeeze through narrow gaps, or merge back into one large ball to press through obstacles and shove objects aside. Along the way you eat berries to grow your group, free trapped LocoRoco and dodge hostile creatures. Stages are built from bright, rounded shapes and hand-drawn backdrops, with a soundtrack sung by the LocoRoco themselves that changes as your group grows. Levels hide off-path areas and pickups that reward exploring rather than rushing to the exit.
