Lord of the Rings Return of the King – Gamecube Game

The Return of the King is a third-person action game based on the final part of the film trilogy. Levels are grouped into separate paths that follow different members of the Fellowship, so you fight through large battles as characters such as Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli, while Frodo and Sam make their way toward Mount Doom with more emphasis on stealth and survival. Combat centres on chaining attacks, blocking, ranged shots and finishing moves against groups of enemies, with points earned for skilful fighting spent on new abilities and upgrades for each character. Two players can play cooperatively through levels on the same screen. Film footage and narration connect the stages, and completing objectives unlocks extra content and additional playable characters on the GameCube version.
