Luigi’s Mansion – Gamecube Game

Luigi’s Mansion is a GameCube action-adventure in which Luigi explores a large haunted mansion in search of his missing brother. Equipped with the Poltergust vacuum device and a flashlight, you stun ghosts with light and then reel them in like fish, pulling against their struggle until they are captured. The mansion is divided into rooms and floors that open up as you collect keys, with many spaces hiding portrait ghosts that require a specific trick or observation to expose before they can be caught. Along the way you suck up cash and treasure hidden in furniture, drawers and fittings. E. Gadd, an eccentric inventor, supplies your gear and stores the ghosts you bring back. The game leans on atmosphere and light puzzle-solving as much as combat, with a comic, nervous take on horror throughout.
