Major League Baseball 2K11 – PS2 Game

Major League Baseball 2K11 is an instalment in 2K Sports’ licensed baseball series, here on the PlayStation 2. It features real Major League Baseball clubs, stadiums and players from the season around its release. On the mound you choose a pitch, aim it and execute it with stick input, while batting asks you to judge the incoming pitch and time your swing; fielding and running the bases are handled with the controller’s buttons. Beyond exhibition games, you can play out a season or guide a franchise across several years, handling lineups, rotations and roster moves from the management screens. Local two-player games let one person bat while the other pitches. Presentation follows a televised broadcast style, with commentary and replays between plays.
