Mansion of Hidden Souls – Sega Saturn Game

A first-person adventure in which you explore a mansion filled with pre-rendered rooms and corridors, moving between locations by clicking your way forward. The house is home to souls that take the form of butterflies, and much of your time is spent speaking with the residents you encounter, gathering hints and piecing together what has happened there. Puzzles rely on paying attention to conversations and finding the right object or location rather than on reflexes, and there is no combat to speak of. The pace is deliberate, with atmosphere carried by still and animated visuals, sparse music and ambient sound. Progress comes from careful exploration and revisiting rooms as new information changes what you can do in them.
