Mario Super Sluggers – Wii Game

Mario Super Sluggers is a baseball game for the Wii using Mario series characters, with the Wii Remote handling batting, pitching and fielding through motion and button input. Teams are built from captains and sidekicks, and putting compatible characters together in the lineup or in fielding positions grants chemistry bonuses that improve throws and hits. Characters differ in batting power, speed and pitching, and each captain has a special move for batting or pitching. Stadiums are themed after Mario locations and include hazards and layout quirks that affect play in the field. Alongside exhibition games there is a mode in which you travel between areas, recruit characters to your roster and take on challenges, plus a set of baseball-based minigames covering hitting, running and fielding skills for up to four players.
