MDK – PS1 Game

MDK is a third-person action shooter starring Kurt Hectic, a janitor turned reluctant hero sent to stop enormous alien mining machines that are stripping the Earth. Kurt wears a coil suit that lets him deploy a ribbon parachute to glide down into levels and slow his descent. His signature tool is a helmet-mounted sniper mode, which zooms in for precise long-range shots and can be used to pick off distant enemies or trigger switches. Alongside the standard chain gun, you collect unusual one-off weapons and items with strange effects. Levels are set inside the alien streams and mix shooting with platforming, riding sections and occasional puzzles. The art style is deliberately odd, with stretched architecture and dark humour running through the presentation.
