Mega Man X Command Mission – Gamecube Game

Mega Man X Command Mission moves the X series into turn-based role-playing territory on GameCube. Instead of side-scrolling stages, you guide a party of three through areas and story scenes, then fight battles from a menu using attacks, sub-weapons and items. X, Zero and a cast of other Reploids join the team, each with their own abilities and a Hyper Mode transformation that temporarily boosts their combat power. Force Metal pieces can be equipped to raise stats and grant resistances, with trade-offs to manage as you build a loadout. Battles also use Action Triggers, short timed inputs tied to individual characters’ special attacks. The presentation keeps the series’ Reploid setting and character designs while trading platforming precision for party management, equipment tuning and boss encounters built around exploiting weaknesses.
