Mercenaries – PS2 Game

Mercenaries is an open-world third-person shooter set during a conflict on the Korean peninsula. You play as a mercenary hired to hunt down members of an enemy regime, presented as a deck of playing cards where each suit and rank corresponds to a target, from foot soldiers up to the leadership. Bounties can be earned by killing or capturing targets, with live captures paying more. The map is freely traversable, and you can commandeer cars, trucks, tanks, helicopters and other vehicles you find. Buildings, walls and cover are heavily destructible, so demolition is often a valid approach to an objective. Several factions operate in the region, and your standing with each rises or falls depending on whose property you destroy and whose contracts you take. Airstrikes, supply drops and vehicle deliveries can be called in from allied factions.
