Metal Slug XX – PSP Game

Metal Slug XX is a handheld run-and-gun action game for the PlayStation Portable, an expanded version of Metal Slug 7. You run, jump and shoot through side-scrolling stages filled with enemy soldiers, tanks and aircraft, throwing grenades and freeing prisoners of war who hand over heavier weapons. Playable characters have their own attributes, and rideable Metal Slug vehicles appear throughout the stages. Alongside the main campaign there is a separate mission mode with shorter objective-based challenges, and difficulty settings adjust how much punishment you can absorb. The game uses the series’ hand-drawn sprite art and layered animation, with large multi-phase bosses closing out stages. Cooperative play is supported over the system’s wireless link for two players.
