Metroid Prime 2 Echoes – Gamecube Game

Metroid Prime 2: Echoes continues the first-person adventure series on GameCube. Samus Aran investigates the planet Aether, where a dimensional split has produced a hostile dark counterpart to each region. Much of the game involves moving between light and dark versions of the same locations through portals, with the dark world draining your energy outside of protective light zones. You gather beams, visors and suit upgrades as usual, and here ammunition is tied to light and dark beam energy. A recurring shadowy adversary stalks Samus and takes her equipment, which you work to reclaim. The scan visor again records creatures and lore, and the Morph Ball handles tunnels and puzzle sections. A multiplayer mode lets several players face off in arenas using Samus’s arsenal.
