Mickey’s Speedway USA – Gameboy Color Game

Mickey’s Speedway USA on Game Boy Color is a kart-style racing game with a Disney cast. Pluto has been taken by the Beagle Boys, and Mickey and friends give chase across courses themed on locations around the United States. Races are viewed from above as you steer through bends, hunt for shortcuts and pick up items scattered on the track to slow rivals or speed yourself up. Characters differ in speed and handling, and finishing well in cup events unlocks further tracks and racers. Alongside the main championship there are time trial style challenges to sharpen your lines. The game supports head-to-head play between two systems using a link cable, and the tracks are built around tight, compact layouts suited to the handheld screen.
