Midway Arcade Treasures 2 – PS2 Game

Midway Arcade Treasures 2 collects a batch of coin-op titles from Midway’s catalogue and presents them on one disc for the PlayStation 2. The lineup leans toward the company’s later, edgier arcade output, including fighting games from the Mortal Kombat series, Primal Rage, and run-and-gun shooters such as NARC and Total Carnage, alongside other cabinet games from the era. Each title is emulated in its original arcade form, so you get the same short-session, high-difficulty design the cabinets were built around, mapped to a controller. A front-end menu lets you pick any included game directly, and the collection carries supplementary material about the games and the people who made them. Most entries support two players, either cooperatively or against each other, depending on the original cabinet’s setup.
