MLB 2006 – PS2 Game

MLB 2006 is a licensed Major League Baseball simulation for the PlayStation 2, featuring real teams, players and stadiums. Pitching involves choosing a pitch type and location while watching stamina and command, and hitting relies on timing and swing selection against what the pitcher throws. Fielding and baserunning can be taken over directly, letting you line up throws and decide when to advance or steal. Along with exhibition play, you can take a team through a full season and postseason, adjusting lineups, rotations and rosters as the schedule progresses. Presentation follows a television broadcast style with commentary, replays and stadium atmosphere. Two players can play against each other locally, and gameplay sliders and difficulty settings adjust the challenge.
