MLB 99 – PS1 Game

MLB 99 is a Major League Baseball game for the original PlayStation with licensed teams, players and ballparks rendered in 3D. Pitching has you pick a pitch and place it around the strike zone while watching your starter’s stamina; batting comes down to timing and choosing between contact and power swings. On defence you take direct control of fielders and throws, and on offence you decide when to advance or steal. Modes include exhibition games, season and playoff play with roster and lineup management, and home run hitting for shorter sessions. Broadcast-style camera work, commentary and crowd audio accompany the games. Two players can face off locally, and difficulty options let you tune how much the game assists you.
