Monsters vs. Aliens – PS2 Game

Monsters vs. Aliens for the PlayStation 2 is an action game based on the DreamWorks animated film. You take control of several of the movie’s monsters across a series of levels, switching between characters whose abilities suit different situations: brawling and heavy lifting, stretching and squeezing through hazards, or clinging to walls and climbing. Stages mix platforming and light puzzle-solving with combat against alien enemies and robotic machinery, and boss encounters cap off sections of the story. Cutscenes and voice work follow the plot of the film, so the game moves through familiar settings and characters as it progresses. Controls are kept straightforward, with simple attack combos and character-specific moves, making it aimed largely at younger players and fans of the movie.
