Mortal Kombat Tournament Edition – GBA Game

Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition is a handheld entry in the fighting series, built for the Game Boy Advance’s two-button layout. Fights play out in 2D as one-on-one matches over rounds, with punches, kicks, sweeps, special moves and finishing moves performed by button and direction inputs. The roster draws on familiar Mortal Kombat characters, each with their own moves and animations, and the game keeps the series’ digitised-look sprite art and gore. Modes include single fights against the computer, a ladder-style progression through opponents, and link-cable play against another GBA owner with a copy of the game. Character bios and endings are included for fighters you finish the ladder with. It is a compact take on the series designed for short sessions on portable hardware.
