Mortal Kombat Trilogy – Nintendo 64 Game

Mortal Kombat Trilogy gathers characters and stages from the earlier Mortal Kombat games into a single 2D fighter. The roster pulls fighters from the first three games, including several who had been unlockable or hidden in previous releases, and stages are drawn from across the series as well. Matches follow the usual structure of rounds against a single opponent, with special moves, combos, Fatalities, Babalities and Friendships performed through directional and button inputs. This version adds the Aggressor meter, which fills as you fight and temporarily boosts your speed and damage when full. Single-player ladders of increasing difficulty sit alongside two-player versus matches. The Nintendo 64 release uses cartridge storage, so fights load quickly between rounds, and the digitised actor sprites and blood-heavy presentation of the arcade games are retained.
