MTV Sports Snowboarding – PS1 Game

Part of the MTV Sports line of extreme sports titles, Snowboarding puts you on downhill courses where the goal is to combine speed with aerial tricks. You pick a rider and a board, then link jumps, grabs and spins to build scores while working your way to the bottom of each run. Runs are laid out with ramps, rails and other obstacles to launch from, and events are structured around either racing to the finish or racking up trick points. Controls follow the arcade approach common to the era: hold a direction and press a button to pull a trick, then land clean to keep your momentum. The presentation leans on MTV branding, with a licensed music soundtrack playing over the action on the PlayStation.
