NASCAR 07 – Xbox Game

The original Xbox version of this licensed NASCAR racing game, using real drivers, teams and circuits from the sport’s national series. You race on ovals and road courses through practice, qualifying and race sessions, with adjustable race distance, caution periods and pit stops for fuel and tyres. Difficulty and driving assists can be set so the cars handle in a more forgiving arcade fashion or closer to simulation, and setup screens let you alter items such as gearing and suspension before going out. Career play runs across full seasons, with team contracts and orders you can give to a team-mate on track. Single races and split-screen multiplayer are included. The presentation follows television coverage, with commentary, replays and licensed liveries.
