NBA 09 The Inside – PS2 Game

NBA 09 The Inside is a licensed basketball game for the PlayStation 2 and part of Sony’s NBA series. It features the league’s real teams, players and arenas in five-on-five play, with a broadcast-style presentation that includes commentary, replays and on-screen statistics. Single games, full seasons with playoffs and longer franchise play are all available, the latter putting you in charge of rosters and trades across multiple years. As the subtitle suggests, the game emphasises interior play, with post moves, contested shots near the basket and rebounding battles alongside the usual perimeter shooting and passing. Sliders for difficulty, quarter length and rules let you adjust the pace. Several players can compete at once using the PlayStation 2’s controller ports.
