NBA Hoopz – PS2 Game

NBA Hoopz brings arcade basketball to the PlayStation 2, trading realistic simulation for short, fast games with NBA teams and players. Fouls and most stoppages are gone, so play runs almost continuously, and dunks send players far above the rim with heavily stylised animations. Hitting several shots in a row heats a player up and boosts their speed and accuracy until they miss or the ball changes hands. A turbo meter drains as you sprint or drive and refills over time, giving the on-court decisions a simple risk-and-reward rhythm. Controls are limited to a handful of buttons, which makes head-to-head matches with a friend straightforward. Unlockable characters and gameplay modifiers can be enabled to change how teams look and play.
