NBA ShootOut – PS1 Game

NBA ShootOut is a licensed NBA basketball game for the original PlayStation, playing out full five-on-five matches with real teams and players. You take direct control of one player at a time, switching automatically on defense and passing, shooting, dunking and rebounding on offense. Alongside single exhibition games, the game offers longer play in which you take a team through a schedule and into the postseason, with box score statistics tracked for players and teams. Play calling, substitutions and lineup adjustments are handled from menus between possessions. The presentation uses polygonal players on a 3D court with camera angles you can adjust, plus commentary and on-screen clock and score overlays. Two players can compete head-to-head on a single console.
