NCAA GameBreaker ’98 – PS1 Game

NCAA GameBreaker ’98 is a college football game for the PlayStation, part of a series that put licensed NCAA schools and stadiums on the field. You call plays from a playbook on offense and defense, then control your players directly through runs, passes, kicks and returns. Beyond exhibition games, the game includes season play so you can guide a program through a schedule toward bowl contention, along with options for adjusting difficulty and game length. Presentation leans on the trappings of televised college football, with commentary, crowd noise and school-specific details on the sidelines. Controls follow the conventions of late-1990s console football, using the shoulder and face buttons for passing targets, jukes and tackles. Multiplayer support lets two players face off head-to-head with their chosen teams.
