NFL Blitz 2000 – Nintendo 64 Game

NFL Blitz 2000 continues the arcade football series on Nintendo 64 with the same compressed, contact-heavy version of the sport. Teams field fewer players than in standard football, first downs require a long gain, and post-whistle hits remain part of the action, so possessions swing fast between long passes and turbo-boosted runs. A short icon playbook keeps play calling quick, and audibles let you adjust at the line. Players on a hot streak can catch fire for a temporary boost, while turbo drains and refills to reward well-timed bursts. Beyond exhibition games there are season-style play and tournament options, plus multiplayer for several people on one console. Presentation sticks with loud commentary, big tackle animations and NFL teams and stadiums.
