NFL Blitz 2000 – PS1 Game

NFL Blitz 2000 on PlayStation is an entry in the arcade football series, played on a short field with reduced squads and a rulebook loosened for speed. First downs need a larger gain than in standard football, so deep passing and turbo-assisted scrambles carry most drives, and defenders can lay in hits after the play. Play calling runs through a small icon menu with audibles available at the line, and streaking players catch fire for a temporary performance boost. Turbo is limited and refills, making its use a tactical choice on both offense and defense. Modes include exhibition games, season-style play and head-to-head multiplayer. NFL teams and stadiums appear alongside exaggerated animations and a running commentary track.
