NFL Quarterback Club 96 is an officially licensed American football game for the Sega Saturn, part of Acclaim’s Quarterback Club series. You select from NFL teams and players, pick plays from offensive and defensive playbooks, and then control the action on the field, throwing passes, running the ball, making tackles and handling kicks and punts. Football rules including downs, penalties, timeouts and the game clock govern each possession. You can play single exhibition games, work through a season, or face another player head-to-head on one console. Presentation includes a television-style broadcast framing with replays between plays. Options for difficulty and game length let you set how long and how demanding a match runs, and statistics track how your team and individual players perform.
