NHL 2005 – Gamecube Game

NHL 2005 brings EA Sports’ hockey series to the Nintendo GameCube with licensed NHL teams, players and arenas. You skate full matches, working the puck with passes and dekes, throwing body checks along the boards and choosing between wrist shots, slap shots and one-timers, with control of the goaltender when play collapses in front of the net. Difficulty, period length and penalty settings are adjustable. Beyond exhibition games you can run a regular season with standings and player statistics, contest the playoffs for the Stanley Cup, and handle trades and line combinations. Presentation follows a television broadcast style with commentary, arena crowds and a licensed soundtrack. Local multiplayer lets two players face off or share a team using the GameCube’s controller ports.
