NHL Championship 2000 – PS1 Game

NHL Championship 2000 is a PlayStation hockey game presented in the style of a Fox Sports television broadcast, with on-screen graphics and commentary framing each match. It uses NHL and NHLPA licensing, so real teams and players appear. Games are standard five-on-five hockey with rules for penalties, offsides and icing that can be adjusted, and you can play exhibition matches, seasons or playoff series. Checking, fighting and power plays feature during play, while menus handle line-ups, trades and statistics. Multiplayer is supported for head-to-head games, and camera options let you change your view of the rink. The control scheme covers passing, shooting and dekes, with difficulty settings and period lengths available for players who want either quicker games or longer, more simulation-style sessions.
