NHL Hitz 2003 – Gamecube Game

NHL Hitz 2003 is Midway’s arcade hockey game for the Nintendo GameCube, following the same three-on-three format as the rest of the Hitz series. Matches run at high speed with no offsides or icing calls, and heavy checking is part of normal play rather than a penalty. Chaining hits, saves, and goals heats your team up, granting boosted speed and shot power until the opposition scores. NHL teams and players are licensed, presented with exaggerated proportions and animations. Beyond exhibition matches there are longer season and franchise-style modes plus unlockable content earned through play. Special shots and one-timers are triggered with button combinations rather than complex stick work. Up to four players can play locally using the GameCube’s controller ports.
